A growing multi-national manufacturer and a specialist in a broad range of customised RF, microwave and millimetre wave components and subsystems, our partner is investing significantly in their people and hiring across the business in key strategic areas. As a result of this, we are now recruiting an experienced Project Manager to ensure the execution and delivery of cutting-edge engineering programmes through the full life-cycle of projects.

Reporting to the Engineering Project Director, your responsibilities will include:

  • planning, executing, controlling and closing all assigned projects, including planning to support RFQs
  • overall management, planning, coordination and execution of all assigned projects ensuring that all contractual and commercial obligations are met on time and in full.
  • controlling project scope from both internal and external influences including customers and internal stakeholders
  • defining, monitoring and controlling the project budget (resource/equipment/materials costs). 

As the right candidate, you have proven project management skills, with the ability to develop resource plans, schedules, risk registers and project budgets, have a solid understanding of modern project management methodologies, specifically relating to requirements capture/ management and scope definition/ control and have an industry recognised Project Management certification such as Prince 2, PMP, APM. You should be a highly motivated individual able to interface effectively with internal & external customers, demonstrate natural business acumen and understand the importance of managing people's expectations. You are an excellent communicator and enjoy working with customers on a local, national and global level.
